Passenger assistance

Are you traveling with French bee soon and you need special assistance? If your mobility is limited because of a disability (visual, hearing, mental or motor-based), you can count on us! To best prepare you for your trip, we have created a guide which can be downloaded from this site to help you request the assistance that best suits your needs).

Who can request assistance?

To start, please follow the checklist below to guide you during your trip preparation

  • Check whether you need to inform us prior to your departure
  • Check whether it is necessary to travel with a travel partner (assistant)
  • Check whether a medical clearance will be necessary

French bee offers different types of assistances.
To make your trip as comfortable as possible, we kindly ask you to inform us when you:

  • Have reduced mobility
  • Are traveling with a wheelchair (refer to the "More details" tab at the bottom of the page for the category)
  • Need oxygen or are travelling with oxygen
  • Are traveling with service animals
  • Have sensory or motor disabilities
  • Are traveling with a cast

Please note, French bee is not able to carry stretchers on its flights.

How to book an assistance:

Online : 

French bee offers you the possibility to easily book your assistance while you are making your reservation on the French bee website. First, start to make an online reservation. When you have chosen your itinerary (dates and destination) you can choose the services you want to add to your flight. At this moment, you will find the possibility to add an assistance:

  • If you want to inform us that you are hearing or visually impaired, please select "Special Attention".
  • If you need a wheelchair from check-in to the boarding area, for your personal convenience, you can also choose " Special Assistance".

These types of assistance can also be added to an already existing reservation. To do so, click on “manage my booking” on the French bee homepage and fill out your name and reservation number.

If you require another type of assistance or want to speak to a Complaint Resolution Officer (CRO), please contact our call center at:

  • 1-833-376-7158 (toll free number) from the USA accessible Monday through Saturday from 7am to 10pm, CST time.

Through our Call Center or at airport ticketing counters (Paris and Reunion island):

Our agents will be glad to book your flight including assistance. Simply mention them that you need assistance and they will guide you to add the assistance that you need to your booking.

  • Opening hours of French bee airport ticketing counter Paris:

Monday-Sunday from 6:30am until 30 minutes after departure of the latest flight of the day

  • Opening hours of French bee airport ticketing counter Reunion island:

Monday-Sunday from 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm

  • Contact details and opening hours of French bee Call Center:

Please note:

Assistance requests must be submitted to French bee until at least 48 hours prior (with the required documentation) to the scheduled departure of your flight.

The wheelchair assistance that French bee offers is available from check-in to boarding. To request assistance and/or support from your arrival at the airport to the check-in desk, please contact the airport directly.

If you requested an assistance in advance, please see here below how to handle at the different airports:

Departures from San Francisco :

  • Present yourself at the check in counter, our agents will arrange your assistance from there.

Departures from Papeete, Tahiti :

  • Present yourself at the check in counter, our agents will arrange your assistance from there.

Departures from Paris Orly:

  • Please go to the terminal Orly 4 (the same terminal for check-in and boarding)

  • You can find the “Information Desk” at level 0, front of Gate 47d

  • The agents of this desk will assist you

Departures from Roland Garros airport:

Present yourself at the check in counter, our agents will arrange your assistance from there.

At the airports there are monitors that display our flight information and most gate areas have electronic displays that indicate specific flight information.

Please note: To start your travel with us as peaceful as possible, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time.
