Privacy policy and protection of data of a personal nature
FRENCH BEE (hereafter “the Company”) has developed and adhered to a privacy policy with the aim of protecting the data linked to your personal life.

1. General

1.1.1 The Company commits to an automated treatment of all the data of a personal nature that is communicated.
1.1.2 The fact that we communicate data of a personal nature carries the acceptance on your part of its automated treatment.
1.1.3 In accordance with the availability of the “Freedom of Information” Act of January 6, 1978 modified by the Law of August 6, 2004, this automated treatment of Personal Data, including the management of email addresses making contact with the Company, is the object of a declaration - under reference 1957964 – via the CNIL (National Commission for Data Protection).
1.1.4. Your personal data will be collected, treated, and/or transferred, including to countries outside the European Union, with a view to furnishing you with information on services. The Company will not use your personal data except for this purpose. We abstain from selling, renting or exchanging with third parties any of the information supplied by you without your express permission, except in exceptional circumstances where the Company is legally obliged to provide such information.
1.1.5 The collection, treatment and transfer of data of a personal nature that you communicate to us (“Personal Data”) is carried out in accordance with Law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 which was modified by Law of August 6, 2004.
1.2 Data Security
1.2.1 The Security of Personal Data maintained by the Company is the object of a policy with particular measures in place. 2.1 The Company may collect directly from its internet site, by telephone, by mail or by agreed or accredited intermediary agents, personal data during brochure requests, bookings, subscription to a contest, promotion or newsletter, during the response to an inquiry or questionnaire or any request for information .
2.2 Information which may be collected includes:
- Your civil status (title, surname, first name, date of birth and place of birth) ;
- Your contact details (address, email, telephone and fax numbers) ;
- Your delivery and/or billing address, where necessary;
- Your passport number and your nationality;
- Your shortcuts on the site www.frenchblue.com;
- Your booking history and the purchases you have made, the pages of the site you have visited as well as the type of browser you use;
- Your travel preferences (special meals, seat allocations, medical assistance and any other service supplied by the Company);
- The content of your correspondence via whatever medium.
2.3 Certain Personal Data may be collected and stored temporarily and directly via cookies during your use of the site www.frenchbee.com.

3. Use of data

3.1 General
Personal Data is treated or transferred with the intention of providing you with information or services.
3.2 Use of Personal Data for a reservation, its concomitant services and any other non-marketing uses
3.2.1 If you make a reservation with the Company, the Personal Data that you supply will be used to answer your request for transport, the provision of specific services related to transport services, and to facilitate the administrative formalities for the crossing of borders.
3.2.2 This Personal Data will be used for the following reasons: accounting, billing and auditing, verification and selection of credit cards or other payment cards, prevention of non-payment, fighting credit card fraud and identity fraud, security and safety of flights, border control and immigration, security, administrative and judicial reasons, statistical analysis, customer service inquiries, customer services and to help us with future transactions with the aim of identifying your needs for example.
3.2.3 The Company also uses the Personal Data that you communicate for administrative reasons and for any other clearly indicated purpose clearly shown on the forms filled in during your request via mail or telephone, according to the terms and conditions of the present document.
3.2.3 Furthermore, the laws of different countries require that the Company and the other airline companies collect "Passenger Information to be communicated prior to flight" (information regarding passport and other related information) for all passengers before their journey to the destination or coming from these countries. The Company will send this Personal Data to border control and immigration if they request it.
3.3 Use for marketing purposes
3.3.1 The Company regularly carries out customer satisfaction surveys and customer studies. Except when a passenger objects during its collection, Personal Data will be used in investigations conducted by or for the Company and will be carried out in accordance with Law no.78-17 from January 6, 1978, modified by the Law on August 6, 2004.
3.3.2 Except when a passenger objects during its collection, the Company will also use Personal Data for statistical studies and research focused on sales and marketing, the pages consulted on the site www.frenchblue.com and the navigation plan used by visitors to said site, monitoring and targeting marketing campaigns and emails of a marketing nature.
3.3.4 If you agree, the Company will allow you to receive information on fares, special offers or other information on behalf of the Company. Except for when a passenger objects during collection, the Company may use all data mentioned in section 2 of the present document to communicate information that may interest you.
3.5.3 Except for when a passenger objects during its collection, direct marketing messages may be sent to you by third parties.

4. Transfer of personal data

4.1 Transfer of Personal Data relating to your journey
4.1.1 The Company may divulge some of your Personal Data to third parties, notably travel agencies, their authorized or accredited service providers and airline carriers when the trip you have purchased is code shared with another carrier .
4.2 Transfer of Personal Data to authorities
4.2.1 By virtue of laws applicable in certain countries, the Company communicates some of your Personal Data to the French authorities and to that of third-party countries for security and border control reasons.
4.2.2 The Personal Data shared is necessary for you to go on your journey. All information retained by the Company which concerns you or connected to your journey may be communicated to the authorities of any country on your itinerary, should a law require it.
4.3 Transfer of Personal Data to service providers outside the European Union
4.3.1 The Company may transfer some of your Personal Data to third parties, service providers outside the European Union under the conditions set out under Law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 which was modified on August 6, 2004.

5. Right to correction or objection

5.1 Exercising your right to correction or objection
5.1.1 In accordance with Law no 78-17 of January 6, 1978 which was modified by Law August 6, 2004, you have the right of access, correction and objection to the information relating to you.
5.1.2 Where the Law allows, you may exercise this right of correction or objection by communicating with us in writing with your full name, address and personal details to the following address:

5.2 Consequences of exercising your right of objection
5.2.1 The collection of certain Personal Data is essential for making Reservations and establishing the contract of carriage. You may of course exercise your right to object to the collection and processing of personal data, but this may result in the cancellation of the trip or the inability to access certain specific ancillary services requested (special meals, etc.).
5.2.2 You are also reminded that, in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable in France and internationally, failure to communicate some of the personal data requested or the inaccuracy of some of said data may lead to refusal to board the flight or to enter a foreign territory, and will, as such, occur without the carrier incurring any liability.

6. Use of cookie

6.1.1 The Company also collects information (not liable to identify you personally) passively, by the use of “cookies.” “Cookies” are text files placed on your computer to identify our browser and track the activity of your computer on our site (pages looked at, the IP address of your computer, etc.). They can only be read by the server which supplies them. As well, we may use cookies to establish statistics on your use of our site and in this way improve our online service.
6.1.2 Whereas most browsers accept cookies by default, you may restart your system to receive an update when each new cookie is created or systematically reject all cookies. Most browser offer instructions to this effect in the “Help” section on the tool bar.

7. Modifications

7.1 The legislation in certain countries is likely to impose restrictions with regard to the right to exercise the right to collection, treatment or and/or transfer by the Company. In order to conform with such legislation, the Company is within its rights to immediately apply new legal instructions and modifier the present document, without warning or liability.
7.2 Due to local rules and regulations, the Company cannot make available certain services in certain countries or to certain individuals. The Company cannot be held responsible while conforming to said local laws.
