The transportation of your sports equipment is included in your baggage allowance and is not considered as standard baggage.
Standard sports equipment: 23kg maximum, conforming to the planned dimensions of 90 cm x 75 cm x 55 cm (2,20m) 302 cm maximum
- Bicycle: Conventional and electric bicycles are accepted up to 23 kg. No items other than the bicycle may be packed inside the transport bag or packaging. Tires must be slightly deflated, and pedals must be removed or folded in. The bicycle must be packed in its original packaging, a cardboard bicycle box, or a bag or case specifically designed for bicycle transport. Please note that the transport of batteries for electric bicycles is subject to restrictions. If the packed bicycle weighs more than 23 kg and up to 32 kg, an Extra Weight fee will apply. The maximum permitted weight for a packed bicycle is 32 kg.
- Golf equipment
- Diving equipment ((composed of a maximum of a wetsuit, a vest, a mask, shoes, fins, a knife and a regulator).)
- Fishing equipment
- Ski equipment (alpine skiing, snowboarding, water skiing) or winter sports (ice skates, hockey crosses, etc.). 2 pieces allowed 23Kg in total.
Overweight or any other oversized sports equipment can't be booked online, it will be checked by check-in agents at the airport, payment for the service can only be made at the airport. You are ready for an active vacation!
Particular case : sporting weapon
Sporting weapons are regulated weapons, included in your baggage allowance (included in SMART and PREMIUM fares). If you already have a BASIC fare, you have the opportunity to add a baggage by going in the "Manage my reservation" section or by contacting our call center at 1-833-376-7158 (toll free number).
You must indicate that you bring a sporting weapon at least 48 hours before departure via our call center at 1-833-376-7158 (toll free number).
Reserve, you are equipped
- After entering your passenger details, continue to Step 2 “Book- Choose services” then simply add your standard sports equipment.
- Please have your reservation number passenger details ready in the "Manage my booking" section.
- In the "Service" section, click on the "Additional Services" button to add standard sports equipment to your reservation.
CONDITIONS
- Flat rate of €75€ ($93) per trip and per equipment applies.
- Payment valid for one trip (one-way flight). A round-trip flight counts as two trips.
- A flight Paris <> Papeete counts as two trips: Paris <> San Francisco (trip 1) and San Francisco <> Papeete (trip 2).
- This service is neither changeable nor refundable.
